About International Film Festival of Rajasthan (IFFOR)

Rajasthan is a land where stories flow freely across its landscape, people, and everyday rhythm of life. The abundance of stories that dwell in all its corners first inspired the iStart International Film Festival of Rajasthan – an initiative ofthe AVGC-XR (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics & Extended Reality) Policy, Government of Rajasthan – a sincere effort to build a space for cinema driven by intention and a desire to enrich Jaipur’s cultural life.
Now in its third edition, the iStart International Film Festival of Rajasthan (IFFOR), powered by The Open Space Society (TOSS), comes to Rajasthan Digifest × TiE Global Summit. Being held from 04th-06th January 2026 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC), the festival will host a wide spectrum of films across genres and formats: experimental, documentary, fiction, and animation, spanning short, medium, and feature films to name a few. These works reflect the region’s growing creative voices and open pathways for collaboration, mentorship, and exchange across local and global contexts.
With each edition, the festival offers audiences a thoughtfully curated selection of films that speak to the moment, encourage reflection, and open new perspectives. For filmmakers, the festival continues to nurture an environment where their work is received with care, supported by skilled technical presentation and a team committed to honouring the craft. Beyond screenings, the festival has evolved into a gathering space for filmmakers, actors, cinephiles, cultural thinkers, and likeminded artists.
Through curated panels, workshops, and creative dialogue, IIFFOR continues to build on its original intention: to nurture and celebrate regional storytellers and give them a platform to connect with their global counterparts.
It is the festival’s endeavour to make this a culturally enriching, creatively ambitious, and deeply rooted cinematic experience for all regional film enthusiasts in Rajasthan and beyond.
